Annette affectionately known as "Dink" stands out as a remarkable individual with an extraordinary life journey. Born and raised in the charming city of Fayetteville, North Carolina, she hails from the scenic Lake Rim are that straddles Cumberland and Hoke Counties. As the youngest of eight siblings, Annette's upbringing was enriched by the guidance of her parents, aunts and uncles, shaping her into a resilient and compassionate soul.
Her educational path was paved through Seventy-First Elementary School. Lewis Chapel Jr. High School, and Seventy First High School where she nurtured her thirst for knowledge and personal growth. In October 1983, Annette embarked on a lifelong partnership by marrying Aaron Williams, a devoted and retired Army soldier. Their enduring story has spanned over four decades, encompassing adventures across continents and shared commitment to one another.
Annette's literary prowess shone brilliantly as she penned her maiden newspaper article in the midst of the Gulf war in 1991. Published in the army base newspaper in Bamberg, Germany, her words carried the weight of the experiences and emotions while her spouse was deployed to Iraq. Her resilient spirit, and ability to capture poignant moments in prose showcased her innate talent as a writer.
Education continued to be a cornerstone of Annette's journey, culminating her attainment of an Associate's in Arts Degree from Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, North Carolina. Her pursuit of knowledge fueled her aspirations and opened doors to new horizons.
A trailblazer in her own right, Annette's entrepreneurial flair led her to establish the "pretty and Plus Boutique" that was a thriving haven for plus size women's fashion. With over a decade at the helm, she transformed her passion for clothing into a business that celebrated and empowered women of all shapes and sizes.
Annette's multifaceted persona extends beyond entrepreneurship, as she assumed the role of a certified life coach specializing in boosting confidence and self-esteem. Her dedication to uplifting others is a testament of the unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on lives far and wide.
At the heart of it all, Annette's devotion to family remains unwavering. Her partnership with Aaron has flourished, yielding four remarkable children, and a legacy carried on through seven cherished grandchildren. Annette's boundless love, warmth, and creativity infuse every facet of her life, from her penchant for decorative arts to her prowess in canvas painting, coloring, and solace found in the pages of a book.
